Carmel Valley Jiu Jitsu ("we," "us") is powered by Tested Daily, a Last Gen Ministries Inc initiative. This page explains what information we collect at carmelvalleybrazilianjiujitsu.com and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you request a free class, sign a waiver, or contact us, we collect the details you give us: parent and child names, email, phone number, child's age, program interest, and any notes you add.
How we use it
- To schedule classes, confirm trial visits, and answer your questions.
- To keep signed waivers on file for safety and legal purposes.
- To send gym news and offers by email, only if you opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To send text messages, only if you opted in (see SMS Terms below).
We never sell or share your mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with service providers that help us run the gym (such as payment, email, and texting providers), and only as needed to provide those services.
SMS / Text Message Terms
- Program: Carmel Valley Jiu Jitsu class confirmations, reminders, schedule updates, and occasional gym news.
- How you opt in: by checking the text consent box on our free-class form. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Message frequency varies, typically up to 4 messages per month.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to cancel at any time. You'll get one final message confirming you're unsubscribed.
- Reply HELP for help, or call 574-220-8727 or email wally@carmelvalleybrazilianjiujitsu.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Photos & videos
We photograph and film kids and parents during classes, events, and gym activities. When a parent signs the waiver's media release, we may use those photos and videos — along with a child's first name and age — on our website, social media, advertisements, and printed materials. We never sell photographs and never share them with third parties for marketing.
You can withdraw photo permission at any time by emailing wally@carmelvalleybrazilianjiujitsu.com. We'll stop using your child's images once we receive your notice; images already published may remain where they are.
Children's privacy
We collect information about children only from their parent or guardian, and only to provide classes.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete your information at any time by emailing wally@carmelvalleybrazilianjiujitsu.com.
